5th Octobre – AA Endurance Experiment

I am about at the 6th week of Amino Acid supplementation. Great results and shifting performance are in sight. The last two workouts of last Tuesday and this Tuesday were exceptional. Despite the surrounding hard efforts and races.

2 x (7 x 400) @ 1:14 /r2:00 /R5:00
Around 1:13 AVG for the first serie and 1:12 crescendo to 1:09 faster and faster each for the last serie.
Felt fantastic and recovery is great too.

In the meantime I had the 17km Utmb before the first workout, a fartlek afterward and a race on the Sunday following. Legs and body are tired, but feeling awesome !

So what do we do here. I planned out a stack, that we cannot really see in the market and especially not used by endurance athletes. The goal is not only to run better, but to perform with excellence in life too, with no energy lows and no mood swings. Just straight up keep hammering !

On waking up + 1h to 2h before a Run => twice a day
I might add in 1g to Beta Alanine and 1g to Citruline 1 day before a race

  • 7g of EAA
  • 3.5g of Beta Alanine
  • 1 to 1.5g of Taurine
  • 2.5 to 3.5g of Citruline Malate
  • 3.5g of Creatine Monohydrate
  • 1 to 2g of L-Carnitine (L-Tartate)

I use 2 x 750mg of Bitter Melon extract with chromium with two meals a day. I also take 3 to 5g of Vitamine C an a full spectrum Multi.

Twice a day and after hard workouts I take 4g of whey derived full spectrum amino acids with herbs, a b-complex and other stuff in it.

The most important factor for me in all this, that I can do or try to do any hard workout, with the confidence in, that even if I totally destroyed myself, the next day I can wake up and go to work and still be a freckin’ motivated beast ! No tiredness, no energy lows, 100% control !

I also had a difficult first 10km race of the season, with loads of twists and turns, on very tired legs and bad quality roads. Got 6th place with 35:50.

More updates are coming on feeling, times and recovery. It seems extremely promising and uplifting ! Amino Acids are food ! For the body, for the brain !
